Groot Constantia Winery - Wine Tours - Cape Town Helicopter Flight in South Africa
We fly from the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront along the sea side over the palm beach of Camps Bay towards Llandudno and Hout Bay. At the end of the Twelve Apostles mountain range, we fly towards the Constantia wine region. When the weather is clear, we can overlook the entire Cape Peninsula with its wonderful sights.
The 300-year-old Groot Constantia winery is nestled in the fertile Constantia Valley. From lofty heights, you will quickly see why the region is also known as the '' green lung '' of Cape Town.
Flight route helicopter wine tours Cape Town. Lying at the back of Table Mountain, the cloud fronts try with all their might to conquer the landmark of the city. Rising winds prevent the constant battle of the forces and Table Mountain is decorated with a tablecloth made of clouds.
The clouds pile up in front of the mountain and cause rainfall that averages 800 - 1000 mm. Large forests and a wonderful wine landscape show you a fertile region where first-class wines thrive.
Wineland Tours
The wine region is relatively small, but a special region at the gates of Cape Town because of its rich history. Located on the Constantia mountain, 9 other wineries are located here, one of which is more beautiful than the other.
The wine farms in this region produce first class red wines and high quality white wines.
We will land in the garden area at the winery and you will have the opportunity to explore the wine farm. If you wish, you can go wine tasting or go to a restaurant.
The whole helicopter sightseeing flight takes about 3 hours, but enough time to feel the breath of the history of South Africa.
Visit two small museums and personally experience the history of the winery.
We look forward to your inquiry. We would be happy to advise you on other wine tours to Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Durbanville or Paarl.
