You can choose between two safaris. Please be at our helicopter airport at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront about 30 minutes before departure. Our staff will greet you warmly and will give you our safety instructions. Your weight is determined and the ticket is issued. It won't be long before your adventure into the wilderness of South Africa begins.
Your helicopter is ready and the pilot introduces himself to you. The blades begin to circle and the speed increases every second. With a little jerk the helicopter rises and the landmark of Cape Town is visible with all its beauty. A little left turn and we fly towards the wine region and Paarl. After about 55 minutes of flight time we reach the private game reserve.
For over 30 years we have been providing high quality, exclusive and bespoke safaris for clients looking for a real safari. In an over 10,000 hectare nature reserve between the Outeniqua and Langeberg Mountains, just an hour's flight from Cape Town, you land in an unspoilt landscape that is ideal for wildlife.
You will be picked up by trained ranchers and you will be offered refreshment. Not before long, your Big 5 Safari can begin. Our ranchers are equipped with radio telephony and know in advance where which wild animals are. It is very difficult to observe leopards because the big cat is a night hunter. Whether and how we see him, depends on the day when he contests for the territory. Lions are in a separate area as they are not allowed to roam freely in the Western Cape. We are sure that we will see a lot of wild animals and we take enough time for game viewing.
The owner of the game farm
The owner, Searl Derman, is passionate about preserving the increasingly threatened wildlife of Africa.
The social upswing, the creation of jobs and various programs for sustainable strengthening are very important to him. He attaches great importance to nature conservation and the empowerment of local workers.
Don't forget your camera and get on one of our modern Airbus helicopters and approach the Big 5 with dignity and understanding. We hope you will enjoy this experience as much as we present it to you.
You can also spend the night in beautiful accommodations in this animal paradise. Please ask for the rates and we will send you the rates.
Please check in approx. 30 minutes before your planned booking time. This way we have enough time to determine your weight, carry out a safety briefing and issue your flight tickets. Then relax on the observation deck. You can also take great photos of our helicopter fleet and enjoy the special atmosphere.
If you do not want to do a private flight, you also have the option of inexpensive self-drive safaris and / or we will pick you up from your accommodation within Cape Town by bus or car. Please just ask and a booking is possible without any problems.
