We will meet in our office where you will be greeted warmly by the staff. Our Helicopter take-off and landing site is located at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. We will need to gauge your weight in order to determine load capacity. You will then receive general safety instructions and be handed a life jacket. The pilot will perform final checks and assist you with your seat belts.
The motor starts and the rotor blades begin to rotate. After a brief moment we will rise vertically into the sky and Table Mountain will appear with its adjoining mountains. With a short left turn we head for the Atlantic Coast towards Camps Bay, Llandudno and Hout Bay. On the left you will see the 12 Apostles of Table Mountain as well as beautiful beaches right beneath your feet.
In no time at all we will reach one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the world, Chapmans Peak Drive, and with a bit of luck, you will be able to spot schools of dolphins playing in the waves - and perhaps even whales in spring time. We now fly along the coastal village of Noordhoek and over a long white sandy beach. In the distance lies the lighthouse of Kommetjie, and at this point the Cape of Good Hope is already within reach. We head around Cape Point and steer in the direction of False Bay.
We now get under way with the second part of our scenic flight through South Africa’s oldest wine-growing area. The wine valley of Constantia boasts 10 superb wine farms, all of which we will see from lofty heights.
We will approach Table Mountain from the back, passing Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
Soon we will reach the city centre, where we will see the famous Bloubergstrand Beach as well as Robben Island right in front of us. We will at this point bid our farewells to Table Mountain, South Africa’s most famous landmark, slowly descending over the historical waterfront and shortly arriving back at heliport.
Our flight attendants will receive you on the landing field, where you will be able to take a great souvenir photo with our pilot.
We are certain that you will thoroughly enjoy this tour to the most beautiful tip of Africa.
